Are you a community-minded individual with a flair for numbers and a knack for innovative problem-solving?
We're looking for a Finance and Facilities Manager to promote the Hall, improve the way it operates, increase profitability and oversee its financial health and physical upkeep.
Outline of Role:
- Reporting to the Chair of the Management Committee, managing the Bookings Secretary and Caretakers
- Average of 10 hours per week over a calendar year
- Flexible working hours and able to work from both the Hall & home
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day operation of the Hall
- Manage the team (Caretakers and part time Bookings Secretary - 3 part time people in total)
- Oversee income and expenditure
- Handle bank accounts and payments
- Produce financial reports for the management committee
- Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, access control & security
- Ensure the Hall is health and safety compliant
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A passion for community involvement
- Finance, systems and organisational knowledge
- Basic understanding of building maintenance
- Leadership & communication skills
